NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police are searching for four men in connection with an attack on the subway in Brooklyn.

Police said the suspects were acting disorderly on a southbound G train on June 6 around 12:25 a.m. when the victim, a 45-year-old male, asked them to stop cursing.

An argument ensued and police said the suspects began punching the victim in the head as he exited the train at the Smith and 9th Street station.

The suspects then fled the station.

The victim suffered bumps and bruises to the head, police said.
