NYC Firefighters Discuss 2016 Calendar Release

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- It was not just the weather heating up Times Square this week. The FDNY Foundation was there to officially release its 2016 Calendar of Heroes, with firefighters waving to the crowd and signing autographs for a good cause.

Four of the firefighters featured in the calendar visited the CBS2 studios to chat about the calendar with CBS2's Andrea Grymes.

All the proceeds go to the FDNY Foundation.

"It's for a good cause," said Marty Mejia, Mr. September, who is appearing in the calendar for the second time. "The foundation helps the FDNY and works together to basically help with fire education and also with CPR courses."
