NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – More than $1,100 worth of ice cream products – and $2,200 in cash – was stolen from ice cream trucks left in a parking lot in Brooklyn over the weekend, police said.

The trucks were parked in a lot on Sackett Street near the Columbia Street Waterfront in Brooklyn overnight Sunday when the hungry thief – or thieves – broke in.

Ice cream popsicles, cones, various ice cream mixes and equipment – along with a $400 television – were all stolen.
