WEST MILFORD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — A fire broke out at a gas station in West Milford, New Jersey Sunday evening.

The driver suffered a medical emergency and crashed into two cars whose drivers were pumping gas at the Sunoco station on Route 23 around 6 p.m., officials told CBS2.

The driver also hit a pump, officials said.

Photos taken by witnessed showed red-orange flames and black smoke billowing from the gas station.

The driver was taken to an area hospital in an unknown condition, officials said.
