Police: Body Found In Prospect Park Lake

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A person was found dead Wednesday evening in Prospect Park Lake in Brooklyn.

The body of a man was found around 5:30 p.m. in the body of water toward the south end of Prospect Park, police said.

The body did not have any visible injuries or trauma, police said.

The man was identified as Abu Ghanan Khalid of Ditmas Park, Brooklyn, police said.

The New York City Medical Examiner's office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of his death, police said.

The investigation continued late Wednesday.
