MASSAPEQUA PARK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — A jogger went for a run in Massapequa Park, Long Island and never returned, and a frantic family has been left to pass out posters and look for clues.

As CBS2’s Tracee Carrasco reported, Michael Bryant Adragna’s family members were combing through his documents searching for answers Wednesday night. But they had found nothing.

Adragna was last seen going for a run down First Avenue, the Massapequa Park street he lives on.

“What could have happened to him? I don’t know,” Adragna said.

The 27-year-old’s grandmother, Julia Adragna, said she last saw her grandson on Sunday night at the Massapequa home they share.

“We had dinner together, and then he went downstairs. He was going to clean up his room. And then he came back had a snack, and then he went to sleep,” Julia Adragna said.

A neighbor saw Adragna early Monday morning as he left for a jog in nearby Massapequa Preserve, a rugged two-mile trail. All of his belongings were left behind.

“He doesn’t have his wallet, his cellphone, his wristwatch,” Julia Adragna said. “I can’t understand this, no. This is very hurtful.”

Desperate family and friends have been passing out these missing posters, hoping for any leads. They said Adragna’s disappearance is completely out of character.

“He was in such a good mood. He was always in a good mood; never angry,” Julia Adragna said. “Everyone loves him around here — that I know.”

And three days later, family members were trying to remain hopeful that Michael Bryant Adragna would return home safely.

“Trying to hold up, that I am. All I want is for him to call me — let me know where he is and if he’s all right,” Julia Adragna said.
