9/20 Sunday Evening CBS2 Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

We'll be enjoying clear skies and crisp breezes tonight all thanks to today's cold front. Temperatures overnight drop into the upper 50s in NYC, with some 40s in the north & west suburbs. It will be a nice taste of autumn, which starts 4:22 Wednesday morning.

We'll have some filtered sunshine and it will be cooler than today, with a high temp of only 73 degrees - right where we should be this late in the month. Tuesday will feature a bit more cloudiness with a slight chance for a sprinkle or two, but dry for most.

Wednesday will be a warm start to the season with a high in the upper 70s and plenty of clouds, with a chance for a few showers along the Jersey Shore & South Shore of LI, Thursday looks nicer with more sunshine and upper 70s.

Have a great night!
