NEW YORK (CBSNewYork)Pope Francis’ visit to the U.S. can be a big boost to local businesses – with merchants selling everything from dolls to buttons, and even beer.

As CBS News’ Don Dahler reported, there are also coins, cutouts and ubiquitous bobbleheads – and you can even feast on pope toast.

And the beer is a new special brew from Cap May Brewing Co. in New Jersey. It is called YOPO, or “You Only Pope Once.”

Indeed, Pope-a-palooza has arrived.

A quick search on the e-commerce site Etsy turned up more than 800 unique items, including a button that reads, “Pope Francis is my homeboy.”

Warren Royal recently turned his Alpharaetta, Georgia bobblehead company into a pop-up Pope Francis factory.

“Since the Pope’s visit was announced, we’ve been ordering in batches of 10,000 at a time,” Royal said.

The Pope Francis bobblehead is now the number one bestselling bobblehead on Amazon.

And in downtown Philadelphia, less than two miles from where Pope Francis will hold his final mass in the U.S. before returning to Rome, is McGillin’s Olde Ale House.

The 155-year-old establishment at 1310 Drury St. in Philadelphia is taking a line from 1 Corinthians to heart: “Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

Chris Mullins of McGillin’s said there will be some special drinks, including the Popetini. And he said he thought Pope Francis would take the name in stride.

“I think he has a sense of humor,” Mullins said. “By the way, he was a bouncer at one time in his career before he was a priest.”

American small business entrepreneurs hope the appeal of Pope Francis will stick with believers in the U.S., whether it takes a bobblehead or a sermon to do.

The costs for Pope Francis souvenirs range from a few dollars for buttons to $60 for the bobblehead.
