Cops: Man Arrested After Burning Body Found In Manorville

MANORVILLE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Suffolk County police have made an arrest in connection with a dead man who was found burning in Manorville on Oct. 15.

Bryan RosalesMejia, 21, of Amityville, was arrested after the body of German Guzman, 36, of Amityville, was found within the Otis Pike Preserve, according to officials.

A driver traveling on Wading River-Manor Road in Manorville noticed a fire on the side of the road, and discovered that it was a body that was burning, Suffolk County police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
