Woman Allegedly Pretended To Be Stranded Motorist In Roadside Armed Robbery
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A driver was robbed at gunpoint in a scheme in which a woman pretended that her car had broken down.
Police said the victim was traveling along Tiber Avenue in Deer Park on Thursday night, when he saw a woman on the side of the road with her hazard lights on.
When he got out of his car, a mystery man appeared and demanded all of his money.
The thief and the woman then drove off.
