2 Hurt After Fire Breaks Out In Apartment Building In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two people were hurt in a fire early Tuesday morning at an apartment building in Queens.

The 2-alarm fire broke out around 6 a.m. at a building on Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills. It was brought under control about an hour later.

A super of the building said a refrigerator in a sixth floor apartment malfunctioned and caught fire, CBS2 reported.

One of the two people injured in the blaze was seriously hurt.
