WASHINGTON (CBSNewYork/AP) — Hillary Rodham Clinton is brushing off Donald Trump‘s persistent swipes at her husband, the former president.
The Democratic presidential front-runner says Republicans have a history of trying to dig up dirt on the Clintons, and if they want to recycle that now, that’s their business.
As she said Sunday: “Didn’t work before, won’t work again.”

With Bill Clinton out campaigning for his wife, Trump is reminding people of the ex-president’s affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky and the questions that have swirled around him concerning other women. Trump said on “Fox News Sunday” that some women have had their reputations destroyed and Hillary Clinton helped that happen.
Clinton respond to the attacks on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”
“If he wants to engage in personal attacks from the past, that’s his prerogative,” she said. “I’m going to draw the distinctions between where I stand and where he stands,” especially on issues like equal pay and the minimum wage.
“He can say whatever he wants to about me. Let the voters judge that, but I am not going to let him or any of the other Republicans rip away the progress that women have made,” Clinton said. “It’s been too hard fought for and I’m going to stand up and make it clear there’s a huge difference between us.”
