Officer, Second Driver Injured In East Patchogue Crash
EAST PATCHOGUE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Suffolk County police officer and another driver were injured in a crash Friday evening in East Patchogue, Long Island.
Police were called around 6:05 p.m. for a two-vehicle cash at Sills and Hospital roads, just south of Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center.
The driver of a 1990 Toyota was rushed to that hospital with serious injuries, Suffolk County police said.
The officer was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police did not release further details on the crash late Friday.
