Villanova coach Jay Wright was a guest on Mike Francesa's WFAN show Monday. He said the team's recent stumbles in the tournament had them more focused this time around.
"I could see a very businesslike approach to our guys since Selection Sunday," Wright said. " ... Selection Sunday, they showed where we were going. ESPN was in the room with us. We had a big crowd. And the guys didn't even clap. No one said anything. And I asked them later, 'Guys, what was the response?' They said, 'Hey, it's just business, Coach. We've got to take care of business.' And then they went into that (North Carolina-)Asheville game the same way."
Second-seeded Villanova will play third-seeded Miami on Thursday night.
