LISTEN: Francesa Says Jim Boeheim, Roy Williams 'Are Going To Be Sick' Talking About NCAA Investigations Into Programs

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Mike Francesa believes Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim and North Carolina head coach Roy Williams will be hounded by the press about the NCAA investigations into their programs.

"There's no question two of the themes when they hit Houston are going to be Syracuse's issues that had Boeheim sit out this year and the fact what's taking so long to get the Carolina investigation done," Francesa said during his show's open. "And they're going to hear a lot of that because those two teams are here and you saw a lot of that dredged up in the last 24 hours."

Boeheim was suspended for nine games and had more than 100 wins vacated after the NCAA said following a years-long investigation over players' ineligibility. The NCAA has been investigating North Carolina's athletics program over academic fraud.

"I guarantee you by Saturday Boeheim and Roy Williams are going to be sick talking about that stuff, absolutely sick of talking about it, because they're going to get a bunch of it on Friday and then these press conferences," Francesa said.

Syracuse is a nine-point underdog against North Carolina in Saturday's Final Four game.

Francesa also talked about the Villanova-Oklahoma game and Wednesday's "Mike and the Mad Dog" reunion show. Listen to the show's open below.
