Two worlds of super-stardom and immense anticipation have collided under one roof for the time being, as New York Giants’ wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is currently staying at rapper Drake’s home.
Fans are circling in expatiation for the both, as the NFL has a stranglehold on the country leaving fans eagerly awaiting September while Drake has the rap game in his hand with the imminent release of his new album Views From the 6.
Beckham Jr., in a “Face 2 Face” video feature for DraftKings, revealed that he is currently staying and training at Drake’s house while the rapper finishes Views.
“That’s my guy right there,” Beckham Jr., said in reference to Drake. “That was the first time we really hung out was that whole weekend. This really was the start of a friendship that’ll carry through a lifetime. Weird enough, I’m actually staying at his place right now while he’s finishing the album. I’m just out there working out. He needs to chill out with that house he has out there. There’s just too much going on.”
Maybe when Beckham Jr. isn’t training…
… he’s making a cameo on the album? Or maybe he’ll work in the Hotline Bling dance to one of his touchdown celebrations next season?
We can dream, at least.
