NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame held its 31st annual induction ceremony at the Barclays Center Friday evening.

“Amazing – every year it’s amazing,” said one Mastic Beach man.

The ceremony also honored late songwriter and record producer Bert Berns with the Ahmet Ertegun Award for Lifetime Achievement.
Kendrick Lamar, Kid Rock, the Black Keys, Rob Thomas, and Lars Ulrich of Metallica were set to be among the special guests.
Grace from Brooklyn was excited to hear all her favorite bands in one place.

There have been a total of 319 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees – counting both individuals and bands, according to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame website.
