Police Trying To Identify Body Of Man Found Alongside Bronx River Parkway In Yonkers

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police in Westchester County are trying to identify a man whose body was found on the side of the Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers.

Police said the man's body was discovered around 4:45 a.m. on April 2 by a passing motorist on the southbound side of the parkway south of the Scarsdale Road exit.

Detectives believe the man died elsewhere and his body was left along the road, police said. The cause of death is pending toxicology test results.

Police have released a sketch of the man in hopes that someone will recognize him. They describe him as a Hispanic man in his 50s, 5-feet-6-inches tall and about 180 pounds.
