LISTEN: Steve Mariucci Discusses Top NFL Draft Prospects Jared Goff, Carson Wentz On WFAN

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- NFL Network analyst Steve Mariucci was talking up the top two quarterbacks in the NFL draft Thursday.

"These guys are legit now," the former 49ers and Lions coach told WFAN's Mike Francesa. "They're good. You've got Jared Goff, who played at Cal. He didn't have a winning record. To be the first pick overall. Then you've got the guy from a smaller school in Carson Wentz at North Dakota State. But you know what, they've got it."

Mariucci said he spoke with Goff, whom the Rams are reportedly leaning toward taking with the first overall pick, and the QB said he hasn't been given any indication by the team that he will indeed be the pick.

"These two teams are very secretive, and they're going up to the 11th hour here," Mariucci said.
