NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade is getting slammed on social media for taking practice shots during the singing of the Canadian national anthem.

Video shows Wade continuing to take pre-game jumpers while the Heat and the Toronto Raptors were standing on the court for the playing of the Canadian anthem before the start of Game 3 Saturday in Miami.

Many on Twitter felt what Wade did was disrespectful.

Wade finished with 38 points in the Heat's 95-91 loss to the Raptors.

The Raptors now hold a 2-1 series lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
