NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The New York Public Library flips another page into the digital age.
The library is releasing a new app to allow easy access to its e-book collection.
The app, which is called “SimplyE,” is for anyone with a library card and access to either an Android or iOS device.
“The new SimplyE app makes all of the ;ibrary’s 300,000 e-books available in one e-reader app for the first time,” according to the app’s description.
The library said Kindle and web browser versions are in development.
