NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) —  The first lady is showing her sense of humor — and showing off her pipes.

Michelle Obama was on James Corden’s show last night, doing a “Carpool Karaoke” bit.

The routine was taped last month and aired on CBS’ “Late Late Show.” The first lady and Corden sing several songs, including “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).”

Corden jokes they were pretty good on one of Beyonce’s signature tunes. They also sang  “This Is For My Girls.”

The girl power anthem benefits “Let Girls Learn,” an initiative launched last year by the first lady and President Barack Obama to help more than 62 million girls around the world.

During the routine, Corden drove an SUV around the White House driveway with the first lady in the passenger seat.

This newest installment is one of many in the wildly successful series. Big-name stars like Gwen Stefani, Adele,  Jason Derulo, Iggy AzealaJustin Bieber and even R&B legend Stevie Wonder have all stopped by for a musical car ride.

In March, Corden landed his own “Carpool Karaoke” hour-long prime time special, featuring Jennifer Lopez and highlighting some of the best performances throughout the past year.

You can catch “Carpool Karaoke” on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” weeknights on CBS.
