State Seizes Grimaldi's Pizzeria In Chelsea Over Unpaid Taxes
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The state has closed a popular pizzeria in Manhattan.
Grimaldi's, located 656 Avenue of the Americas, was seized by New York's Department of Taxation and Finance.
State officials say the Chelsea restaurant, which stands next to the old Limelight, failed to pay nearly $122,000 in overdue sales tax, CBS2 reported.
The tax liens date back to 2014.
