OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — A Long Island mother was arrested after allegedly driving drunk with her 4-year-old daughter in the backseat, police said.

Police say Jillian Bellows, 36, of Hampton Bays, was swerving and driving erratically on the Long Island Expressway at Exit 39 in Old Westbury when she was pulled over at around 8:40 p.m. Saturday night.

Once pulled over, police found Bellow’s 4-year-old daughter buckled in the back seat of the 2016 Toyota Scion, authorities said.

Police officers determined Bellows was intoxicated after pulling her over, authorities said.

No injuries were reported.

Bellows is facing several charges, including endangering the welfare of a child, use of a portable electronic device and driving in excess of 55 mph.

She is scheduled to be arraigned in Hempstead on Sunday.
