Man Snatches Purse From 85-Year-Old Woman In Forest Hills, Police Say
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a man who they said ran off with an 85-year-old woman's purse in Queens.
It happened on 72nd Road in Forest Hills around 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 23.
Police said the suspect came up behind the woman and snatched her purse.
The victim suffered some cuts and bruises after falling during the attack, but she refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
