Pylons Under Tappan Zee Bridge Catch Fire
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Fire trucks and boats from Westchester and Rockland counties are on scene of a fire under the Tappan Zee Bridge.
It's on the side that carries traffic from Rockland to Westchester. Officials say wooden pylons under the bridge caught fire, but the flames are mostly knocked down.
So far, there has been no impact on the commute.
The new Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge is not affected.
