Victim Of Fatal Hit-And-Run In New Jersey Identified
RIDGEWOOD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – Police have identified the victim of a fatal hit-and-run in New Jersey Monday.
Police in Ridgewood say 54-year-old Edward Rao of Hawthorne was found lying on West Ridgewood Avenue shortly after 7 p.m. Monday.
Surveillance video indicates he was hit by a dark-colored SUV, but police have been unable to figure out the make and model.
Rao was rushed to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
