Woman Critically Injured Hit After Being Hit By MTA Bus On the East Side
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A woman was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after being hit by an MTA bus Monday.
It happened just before 10 a.m. on Second Avenue and East 36th Street on the East Side.
Police say the woman, 71, was in the crosswalk when a Queens express bus hit her.
She was taken to Bellevue Hospital with a head injury.
The NYPD is looking into the cause of the accident.
