Fire Rips Through 5-Story Apartment Building In Far Rockaway
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A four-alarm fire ripped through a five-story apartment building overnight in Far Rockaway, Queens.
Flames broke out around 2:30 a.m. on Mott Avenue near Cornaga Avenue.
The fire was placed under control around 4 a.m.
One person suffered minor injuries.
The Red Cross said it's assisting roughly 20 people.
