4 Minor Injuries Following Early-Morning Fire On East Side

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Firefighters battled an early-morning blaze on the East Side of Manhattan.

Flames broke out around 4:40 a.m. on 55th Street and Lexington Avenue. 

Officials believe the fire started in a restaurant on the first floor of the five-story building.

Four people suffered minor injuries.
