Long Island Man Facing Charges Of Impersonating Police Officer
OCEANSIDE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) - A Long Island man is facing charges and accused of impersonating a police officer.
Detective arrested 55-year-old Frank Zenon of Baldwin, N.Y., on Saturday in Oceanside, N.Y.
Police say Zenon approached them while they were investigating another case on Merrick Road.
According to detectives, zenon identified himself as an NYPD detective, but nassau police were suspicious.
Zenon is charged with criminal impersonation.
