NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A 7-year-old boy was shot in the leg in the Bronx Wednesday afternoon.
Shots were fired around 12:30 p.m. near East 137th Street and St. Ann’s Avenue in the Mott Haven section as the child was walking with his grandmother.READ MORE: Police Searching For Little Girl Seen Wandering Alone On Long Island

Police said the suspect opened fire with a revolver and then ran into a nearby 6 train subway stop, police said. He’s still on the loose.
