NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The New York City Fire Department is mourning the loss of two retired firefighters to 9/11-related illnesses.

Firefighter Richard Jones passed away Friday.

The FDNY says Jones retired in October of 2002 after 20 years on the job.
