Governors Island, High Line Reopen This Week

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A few popular New York City summer spots are about to reopen.

Governors Island will open to the public Wednesday, and the city will offer free ferry service for NYCHA residents and community groups.

The High Line on Manhattan's West Side will reopen Thursday, but with limited capacity.

Foot traffic will flow in one direction north from Gansevoort to 23rd Street.

The High Line will be open seven days a week from noon to 8 p.m.
