Commuter Alert: Water Main Break Closes Streets In Chelsea

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A water main break impacted the morning commute in Manhattan.

The main ruptured around 6:30 a.m. near 28^th Street and 8^th Avenue in Chelsea.

28^th Street was closed, and some 8^th Avenue lanes were also blocked.

Drivers were urged to avoid the area.
