Biden Administration Gives New Hope To Gateway Tunnel Project
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Biden administration plans to go ahead with the Gateway tunnel project between New York and New Jersey.
Word came from Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg in an appearance before the House Transportation Committee.
Buttigieg called the rail tunnel project a regional issue of national significance.
He said his department hopes to complete the project's long-delayed environmental impact statement by the end of June.
