Bronx Street Co-Named For Late Queen Of Salsa Music, Celia Cruz
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A street in the Bronx now bears the name of the late Celia Cruz, the legendary queen of salsa music.
New York City Council Member Fernando Cabrera was on hand for Wednesday's co-naming ceremony.
Celia Cruz Way is located at the corner of Reservoir Avenue and West 195th Street in Kingsbridge Heights.
The Celia Cruz Bronx High School of Music is also located by the intersection.
