NYPD On Hunt For Suspect In Astoria Slashing
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is looking for a suspect who attacked a man outside a Queens deli.
Police on Sunday released surveillance video of the incident at 31st Street and 38th Avenue in Astoria last month.
Investigators say a fight over whether the deli was open turned violent, when the suspect pulled out a knife.
The 60-year-old victim tried to defend himself, but ended up getting slashed in the head and arm, police said, adding the suspect also stole the victim's slippers.
