Bear Sighting Forces Officials To Close Tourne County Park
BOONTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -A Morris County park has been closed because of a dangerous bear sighting.
Park authorities say the bear aggressively approached visitors on the trail at Tourne County Park in Boonton.
New Jersey Fish & Game set up a bear trap inside the park, which is more than 500 acres.
Because of the location of the trap, the park has to be shut down for public safety. Police say they will let the public know when it's safe to return.
