EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — The Meadowlands State Fair is back as New Jersey continues to reopen.

The fair kicked off Friday afternoon after being canceled last year for the first time in three decades because of the pandemic.

The fair, the largest in the state, features lots of food, games and rides.

Organizers added an extra week this year to give families more time to visit. The fair is open through July 11.
