NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Some Bronx school kids teamed up with local artists Wednesday to brighten up their schoolyard.

Children with the “Summer Rising” program painted a mural at P17X.

City schools chancellor Meisha Ross Porter was there to take in the artistic creation.
