Robert Durst Expected To Take The Stand In Los Angeles Murder Trial

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- New York real estate heir Robert Durst is expected to take the stand Thursday at his Los Angeles murder trial.

Experts say the rare move is considered extremely risky for a defendant.

Durst is charged in the shooting death of his friend, Susan Berman, back in 2000.

He has bladder cancer, and his lawyers have sought delays and a mistrial over his health troubles, but the judge has rejected them.
