NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – New York City has recently seen a dramatic uptick in shooting incidents.

Mayor Bill de Blasio and Police Commissioner Dermot Shea have promised to go all out to prevent the city from sliding back into the violence of previous eras.

Here’s a look at recent shooting incidents and victims.
