NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – New York City has recently seen a dramatic uptick in shooting incidents.

Mayor Bill de Blasio and Police Commissioner Dermot Shea have promised to go all out to prevent the city from sliding back in to the violence of previous eras.

Here’s a look at recent shooting incidents and victims.

June 20: At least 19 injured in over a dozen shootings across NYC

June 22: 28 shootings reported in 72 hours

June 25: 7-year-old girl injured in East Harlem shooting
