This is probably one of my favorite places to eat some great grub and crank out to some METAL. Friday nights down in the basement is where the party starts. Cheap booze, great bartenders, amazing vibe, the DJ spins all of the best metal and don't forget about the pizza. WOW! I think they make some of the best pizza in NYC, and that's a tall order. Their menu has a ton of great food, but pizza and metal is where it is at. They have this wood burning oven that is so hot and it makes that pizza oh-so yummy. I would recommend anything on the pizza menu but my personal favorite is the ham and mushroom. It's to die for. So run down to the East Village and scream for me 3 of Cups!!!

This place just rocks. They have a half-price appetizer happy hour. How can you go wrong with that? Grab an ice-cold beer, and enjoy the shucked oysters, Cajun hush puppies and the catfish fingers. They have an amazing selection of hot sauces that goes perfectly with every Cajun meal. Once you get your buzz on and your belly is full, go down to the basement to get your fill of METAL. They have a great stage, great bar, and a ton of great hard rock and metal bands. If you love Cajun food and seeing your favorite live metal bands then this is the only place you need to go.

Duff's doesn't serve food, but you can bring your own if you want. This place is 100% METAL!!! It rules. Make no mistake. If you are looking for a bar that has hip hop or dance music you will not have a good time. Actually, please don't even bother coming. This bar is for people who love to smash down shot after shot and guzzle the beer. Put a $5 bill in the juke box, crank up some Slayer and bring a slice of pizza. You have been warned.

This is a new bar, but you have to love their motto: "Bourbon, Beer Rock". You can't go wrong with that. It's a heavy metal speak easy that has a great selection of craft beers, an outrageous selection of bourbon and whiskey, and they swing the rock stick with Heavy Metal music cranking through the speakers. When the munchies take over, stumble upstairs to Billy Hurricane's for some chicken wings, an andouille burger, or a chicken po-boy.
