Boasting two versions of yakitori kaiseki tasting menus, the restaurant recreates the Japanese Ryokan hotel style where guests come to relax and enjoy various dishes. There is a ten-course tasting menu for $150 that offers flavorful dishes, including their signature Ishiyaki TEISUI, which is an impressive king crab and red snapper miso soup boiled with a Mount Fuji stone. NYC Speakeasies: Best Secret, Hidden Bars In NY

The brainchild of husband and wife Jenny and Matt Dorsey, this underground Manhattan restaurant hosts monthly seven course dinners with cocktail pairings. Started in 2014, this supper club is an off the radar dining experience that foodies will enjoy. With a changing menu some of the dishes that are served, including Japanese yam gnocchi with garlic scape foam, bacon, basil and pomegranate. An award-wining mixologist Matt Dorsey has created drinks that complement the dishes, including the “Olympiad,” made with cachaça, caramelized banana, coffee liqueur and Benedictine.
