There's nothing like a good live music concert during the summertime. While there's many concert options coming up, we've narrowed down the best upcoming R&B concerts coming to New York City.

You probably remember him from winning the second season of American Idol or from the reality TV show The Biggest Loser. Ruben Studdard, also known as "velvet teddy bear," will be performing a Luther Vandross tribute and more right in the heart of Time Square. Seating at B.B. Another not-to-miss R&B show B.B. Kings Blues Club & Grill is 90s R&B crooner Jon B. The singer/songwriter is best known for his hit 1997 single "They Don't Know,"and for writing hits for stars like Michael Jackson, Toni Braxton, Color Me Badd and more. Tickets for this show are $25 and seating is first come, first serve.

Columbian-born singer and songwriter Kali Uchis is a R&B act to see this summer. If you like Amy Winehouse or music from the 60s, then you'll like Kali Uchis, who released her debut hit EP, "Por Vida" in 2015 and has worked with Snoop Dog, Vince Staples and Tyler The Creator. Kali Uchis is playing alongside SBTRKT, Pusha T and a handful of other artists at the two-day Full Moon Fest, taking place at Governor's Island. Tickets are available for each day, as well as a full weekend pass.
