Police In Brooklyn Looking For Suspect Wanted In 4 Robberies

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police in Brooklyn are looking for help to identify a suspect wanted in four robberies that occurred last week.

Authorities said the suspect has hit a number of restaurants and a drug store and got away with cash in four of the five alleged incidents.

The robberies date back to August 3, when police said the suspect robbed the McDonald's at 1883 Atlantic Avenue. The suspect displayed a note and a black object under a bag and demanded money from the register before fleeing the scene with cash.

On Saturday, August 6, the suspect allegedly went into the Burger King, located at 957 Marcy Avenue, and demanded money from the register, while telling the victim he had a gun. The suspect fled the scene on foot without getting any money.

Authorities said the man also robbed a Jamaican restaurant, Golden Crust and drug store in between the first and last incidents.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 25-30 years old, 6'0'' to 6'3'' tall and 210 pounds. The suspect is said to have a tattoo of Chinese characters on the right side of his neck. He was also wearing a gray colored t-shirt during several of the robberies, police said.
