Deena's Dish On The Jersey Shore

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Jersey Shore's Deena Cortese, also known as "The Blast in the Glass," has made quite a name for herself on the show.

But it's all coming to an end when this season six is over.

Cortese hit The Couch on Thursday morning to catch us up on what's next for her.

The reality television star admitted she shouldn't have done the last season of the show.

"I have anxiety to begin with, and I was having panic attacks, and I was a mess," she said.

Calling the end of the show "bittersweet," she said she does feel ready to move on.

"I feel like my life has changed, a lot of it has been getting to me, like the bashing on Twitter. I'm trying to grow a thicker skin."

As for the effect of Hurricane Sandy, Cortese said she was devastated with the destruction of the shore that made her famous.

"We went down there to videotape for 'Restore the Shore' and it was really sad to watch," she said. "I've been going down to Seaside since I was five, and now I'm 25...a lot of my life was down there. And it looks nothing like it was. Now all I have is memories, and I can just imagine what, the people that live there, how they feel."
