Eagles' Celek Talks Giants, Vick On The FAN
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Eagles tight end Brent Celek joined Boomer & Carton Friday morning to preview Sunday's matchup against the New York Giants.
Celek has plenty of praise to heap on Eagles QB Michael Vick:
"It looks like this guy is playing a video game," Celek said. "He runs at will, he can throw the ball 80 yards in the air.
"Anytime he touches the ball, he can score. And when we're in the huddle with him, we believe that we're going to score on every single play."
On backup QB Kevin Kolb:
"We've got two starting quarterbacks," said the Eagles' tight end. "If Mike goes down, we've got another guy that we've won with and we believe in."
On facing the Giants on Sunday:
"They're a very good team. If we just do what we did last week, play smart football, don't make penalties, execute the way we know how, then there will be a [win]."
Celek, an Ohio native, also goes into detail about his interesting Cincinnati connection with Boomer Esiason...
