NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A sunny morning will give way to clouds moving into the Tri-State by mid- to late-Friday as a rain system moves in for the weekend.

The temperatures, otherwise, will keep getting warmer as spring approaches. The high on Friday in New York City will be 41 degrees and the low will drop to 23. Each day of the weekend is expected to get warmer though, CBS 2’s John Elliott reports.

The rest of the region will stay in similar conditions with highs in the mid-40s and lows in the mid-30s along the Jersey Shore.
